Keeping up with HB Cruises Team
HB Symposium at Sea onboard Symphony of the Seas - October 12 - 19, 2019
Welcome aboard! HelmsBriscoe Cruises & Royal Caribbean hosted HB Associates and their guests onboard Royal Caribbean’s spectacular Symphony of the Seas for a Symposium at Sea and leadership meeting. The group sailed from Miami to Western Caribbean ports and Perfect Day at CocoCay. While onboard, Associates experienced first hand how a meeting at sea can accomplish their clients' business goals. The group had a meeting component as well as the opportunity to enjoy specialty restaurants and world-class entertainment. They learned about the value of cruises to their client’s bottom line. No cost meeting rooms, A/V and food & beverage, not to mention the 10% commission earning potential. Everyone came back excited to offer cruises to their clients!
Attending the event from HB were:
Kathi Hedlund, Jill Slater, Laura Little, Shelley Tubbs, Carol Benavides, Vickie Corder, Paula Banta, Bette Budde, Tracey Gilbert, Natalie Healy, Kathleen Diggins, Mark Phillips, Jennifer Ingle, Liz Scholz, Kristen Sharrer, Rick Angiollo, Tim Papplardo, Dean Tompkins, Debbie Van Ravenhorst.
The symposium was hosted by Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, Pam Kressley and Cinthia Mella. It was co-hosted by HBCruises, represented onboard by Joyce Landry, Todd Dunlap and Vicki Fernandez.
During a call in Cozumel, Pam Kressley from Royal Caribbean organized supplies/donations for the Humane Society of Cozumel. Pam and her colleague Cinthia, the HB Cruise Team (Todd & Vicki), as well as HB Associate Jennifer Ingle, spent the morning giving love and attention to the animals at the local Humane Society. Everyone enjoyed playing with the rescue animals and giving them baths. Let’s hope they find their “furever” homes soon! HB Cruises joined forces with Event Producer Kathryn Arnold for the fifth time to plan and operate the 2019 Grappler’s Escape Cruise. HB Cruises Events Manager Nicola Rowan sailed with 166 Brazilian Jiu Jitsu enthusiasts aboard Royal Caribbean’s spectacular Harmony of the Seas. The ship sailed June 9 – 16, 2019 from Port Canaveral (Orlando) with stops at CocoCay, Bahamas; St. Thomas, and St. Maarten.
The 5th Anniversary “Jiu Jitsu at Sea” Grappler’s Escape voyage included 6 days and 7 nights of world-class instruction and open mat training led by 5 of the top champion black belts. The Grapplers group also enjoyed hosted receptions, parties and events ashore plus plenty of fun and sun!
